I had a crazy idea that I wanted to work at Zalando once. And I did. for seven weeks. Then I got fired. The whole process is on my LinkedIn page, which I invite you to read here.

My time at Zalando was terrible. I was supposed to be the creative director of the bread & butter fashion extravaganza. I met a handful of great people and had some fans there. I got compliments for my insane application. Otherwise, I got some severe criticism too. I had some laughs. I enjoyed the fashion world. And I tried. Otherwise, it was terrible. that said, I have the utmost respect for a company that then, paid 10,000 employees every month their wages. Utmost respect. I have respect for the dynamic and drive. I have the utmost respect for anyone's success.

I vowed to write a book about my seven weeks there. I could, but won't. I was ultimately in the deep end without a clue of the juggernaut in the background. I was trapped, and I did not perform well at all. And it wasn't all my fault. It was a terrible first date getting just worse and worse. We should have just swiped left, but didn't, knowing that sometimes bad sex is also good.

The day came, and I was let off, and the show went on without me. And then one more year and then they packed it all in.

Everything gotta come to an end—the good and even the bad things.
